Strata Brass were proud to return to the Durham Miners’ Gala – one of the most iconic and spirited events in the brass band calendar.
This year, we were once again honoured to represent Brandon Lodge, marching through the historic streets of Durham with pride, music, and a deep respect for tradition. The Gala was a powerful celebration of heritage, community, and solidarity, and it was a privilege to be part of such a moving event.
The atmosphere was unlike any other – filled with stirring performances, heartfelt moments, and the unbreakable spirit of the North East. Strata Brass were delighted to play a part in keeping this proud legacy alive.
