Strata Brass were proud to take part in the 2025 Yorkshire Regional Brass Band Championships, held at Huddersfield Town Hall, competing in the Second Section under the baton of David Holling.
The band performed 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea following weeks of hard work and preparation in rehearsals. Contest day was a fantastic experience for the band both on and off the stage, with members enjoying the opportunity to perform alongside bands from across the region in one of the highlights of the brass band calendar.
Following the performances and adjudication, Strata Brass were delighted to be awarded 4th place in a strong and competitive section. The result reflected the commitment and dedication shown by every member of the band throughout the contest season.
The band would like to thank David Holling for his continued hard work and musical direction, as well as all of our supporters, friends and families who continue to encourage us throughout the year.
